Caregiver Excel Program
The Caregiver Excel Program allows Homewatch CareGivers to retain quality
caregivers, as it emphasizes skill development, continuing education,
and the opportunity to increase pay and earn bonuses. In addition,
rewards can be earned through exceptional job performance, recognition
by clients for exemplary care services, seniority or other noteworthy
endeavors.
The following portions of the Caregiver Excel Program enhance the core
services provided by Homewatch CareGivers.
Our Homewatch CareGivers Academy provides extensive caregiver training
on a monthly basis. We have over 30 training courses developed by nurses
with years of experience in the home care arena.
Training topics include but are not limited to:
- Alzheimer's Care
- Transfers
- Safety Issues

- Wound Care
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Communications Skills

Additional training is provided in the “Caregiver Assistance News” which
is provided monthly to assist caregivers with continuing education.
