Our Story
Homewatch Caregivers of Denver has been a Greater Metro Denver Area home care agency for over 30 Years. The founder, Paul Sauer, started business in 1976 as a Pet and House-Sitting Business after being discouraged with the Biochemistry field.
A lady living in Central Denver asked Mr. Sauer to check in on her mother who was living in the family basement while caring for their home and pet’s needs while they traveled on vacation. This was in March of 1980. This was the first home care client served by Homewatch CareGivers and it started a brand new service. The word started spreading by mouth and soon several Case Management Companies heard of the extra services Homewatch CareGivers was providing. The business grew because of the need, and trusting sincerity of the founder.
The Philosophy of providing Quality and Valuable Homecare Services to clients has always been the Homewatch CareGivers Mission. Mr. Sauer is still involved in the family business and enjoys thoroughly the business he started. The business has grown into a National and International business from the Denver Office.
For the past 30 years, our charter has been helping seniors, and people of all ages, recover from illness, surgery or other unexpected life situations in their own homes, where they like to be. We will always provide quality services that people need, and peace of mind to their families who know their loved ones are receiving exceptional home care. We only hire trusted bonded caregivers that are passionate, caring, dependable and committed to treating all clients like their own family.
