JOB DESCRIPTION

Homewatch CareGivers of Portland is a provider of home care services to the elderly and others who need assistance with activities of daily living. We need a great team player with strong computer skills to support client care coordination functions, including scheduling caregiver shifts with clients. In addition to computer skills, to succeed in this position you will need great telephone manners, a pleasant interpersonal style, and compassion for those who need some assistance in their lives – along with excellent office and organizational skills. We anticipate that this will be a non-exempt, salaried full-time position, although for the right person we can talk about more flexible hours. For someone working 40 hours per week, the starting base annual compensation for the HomeTools Coordinator position will be in the range of $27,000 to $29,000, depending on your background and experience. However, if you have superior skills and lots of experience in this industry, we would be happy to talk to you and see if we can meet your requirements. There will be an opportunity to earn additional compensation by participating in the “on-call” rotation, where a responsible staff member carries a mobile phone to field calls during hours when the office in closed, and through an incentive plan based on success in growing the business. Full-time office staff also accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s health & welfare programs.

REQUIREMENTS

The Company uses an online scheduling and information system with capabilities to help us manage staff and effectively serve our clients. We need a person who has the skills and the ability to multi-task to take full advantage of the system’s capabilities.
