In 2004, the American Heart Association set out to create an initiative that would educate women about their risk for heart disease. The Go Red campaign was launched to encourage awareness, emphasize the power women have to fight and prevent disease and encourage heart health. Funds raised for the Go Red campaign will go to public health education, research, and professional and educational training. Education and prevention are very important to HomewatchCaregivers, and we are proud to be involved in the Go Red initiative.
