Home Care Association of America
A Caregiver Agency That Strives to Make a Difference
As a leader in the home care industry, Homewatch CareGivers® is a proud
member of the Home Care Association of America (HCAOA). COO Jennifer Tucker
is a member of the board of directors at the HCAOA.
The HCAOA is the nation’s first association for the providers of
employee-based private-duty home care, which includes non-medical home
care services. Homewatch CareGivers and the HCAOA share the mission to
strengthen the professionalism of private duty home care providers through
education and best practices. The HCAOA was founded on the principle that
the model of private duty home care is to “employ, train, monitor
and supervise caregivers, create a plan of care for the client and work
toward a safe and secure environment for the person at home.”
The HCAOA is the recognized resource for information and definition of
private duty home care practice, supported by a strong national membership
of providers.
Homewatch CareGivers was proud to participate with eight other employee-based home care company leaders that worked with the Home Care Association of America to create the “Caring for America’s Seniors: The Value of Home Care” report.
