Several years ago, my husband faced a sad reality--his mother could no longer live alone. She loved her home and desperately wanted to stay there. Unfortunately, her other sons who lived nearby her, made the decision to move her into a facility and sold her home. She was devastated and we felt helpless.
Soon after that, we learned about home care companies that provided caregivers to go care for those who wanted to stay in their homes. This is what we had been looking for and we knew we could make a difference in people’s lives. We researched numerous companies and made the decision to buy a Homewatch franchise.
We approached our business with the idea that we wanted to provide the best possible care because we knew how important it was for someone to stay in their own home. We learned that people are happier in their own environment, surrounded by their cherished belongings and memories. I, as a Registered Nurse, have a passion for helping people and I am dedicated to keeping your loved one at home for as long as possible. My staff shares this passion—they always go the extra mile to ensure quality care. As a result, our clients become our family.
