Healthy Vision Month
Eyesight can affect a person's ability to complete activities of daily living and therefore to live independently, as a majority of people desire. May is Healthy Vision Month. The National Eye Institute has eyesight reminders:
  • wear sunglasses
  • know your family history
  • when necessary, wear protective eye gear
  • get a dilated eye exam
