July is UV Safety Month and you are encouraged to do what you can to limit exposure to harsh ultraviolet sun rays. Doing things like avoiding direct sun exposure between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., using a sunscreen with a SPF 15 or higher, and not using indoor tanning beds can reduce your skin cancer risk.
