National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month

November is the month set aside as National Alzheimer's Disease and Awareness Month, but one of the most well-known fundraising events has been going on all fall. The Walk to End Alzheimer's occurs in cities around the country for months, as people raise funds that are use for researching a cure for this degenerative disease. The Alzheimer's Association provides a map of local events for you to get involved in your community.
