Thyroid Awareness Month
Do you know what your thyroid is and where it is? This small, butterfly-shaped gland below the Adam's apple is responsible for so much of your well-being. During January's Thyroid Awareness Month, people are encouraged to learn more about the thyroid and talk with their health care providers about it. The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists provides information on thyroid health, including how to do a "neck check" at home. Learn more at the AACE website
