I don't know how I got so lucky choosing Homewatch CareGivers of Garland. I think it was time to have something good happen! I am very impressed with Alma and Jeff and the way everything has been handled. Also, I knew immediately when I met the caregiver that it was going to be great. You can reach us by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week because your call is important to us. If we happen to miss your call, we will return your call within 1 hour during normal business days and within 3 hours during evenings and weekends.
We monitor our emails 7 days a week. Expect a reply within 1 hour between 8am and 6pm, or by 9am the following day if after 6pm evenings and weekends.
As an excellent home care agency, we can start taking care of your family member immediately; even if you are not available in person to sign paperwork on behalf of your loved one. This includes a seamless discharge from a facility. You can complete any paperwork via email or fax if your loved one cannot do so.
We can come to your loved one’s home or meet at the facility where your loved one is currently staying to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your loved ones needs. In most cases we can conduct the evaluation the same day you reach out to us.
We begin creating a care plan by first learning about your loved ones family history, enjoyed social activities, medication regimen, and medical history. All this information is used to begin our caregiver matching process making sure your loved ones lifestyle is an excellent fit with their caregiver. We also conduct a thorough fall-risk assessment of your loved ones home.
We can make weekly progress notes about your loved ones activities, captured in our new Lawton tool, available to you.
Family communications can be one of the most important aspects of our job as a home care agency. Staying informed of changing social schedules, running necessary errands, sharing notes from doctor's visits, and communicating about your loved one's general well-being are all important components to good family communication.
From time to time we will ask for your feedback. It is one way for us to be sure we are delivering the quality care you expect from us. Regularly scheduled Quality Assurance visits are another important way we stay informed of the quality of the care we provide.
