Meet an Owner: “I Did This for the Right Reasons”

Is senior care franchising right for you?

When someone decides to open a new business—whether from scratch or by buying a franchise—there are personal reasons for it. People may be motivated by a cause, a passion, or finances, when they take the step to be an owner and an employer, impacting the lives of many.

Ray Medina is the owner of Homewatch CareGivers serving Pittsburgh, PA, and he was inspired by his own Dad to go into the senior care business.

“I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives,” he says. “Now when I get a client that says, ‘Ray, thank you for caring for my Mom, thank you for caring for my Dad, my husband or my wife, that gives me a sense of fulfillment that I never got before.”

Watch and listen to Mr. Medina’s video to learn more about what sparked one individual’s interest in becoming a franchise owner.
