Homewatch CareGivers Franchise Owner Channels Passion for Leadership and Business Management to Make a Difference

Since 2011, Lori Mgrdichian and her team have been changing the lives of others through her Homewatch CareGivers franchise locations.

Lori had researched a number of other home care franchise systems across the country, but Homewatch CareGivers’ commitment to quality and to the aging and disabled populations stood out.

Utilizing her background in information technology and business management, Lori opened her Homewatch CareGivers senior care location in Windsor Connecticut in 2011. And, building on the momentum from continuous growth year after year, Lori acquired additional locations in Western Massachusetts in 2017. Lori says she and her team are positively impacting the lives of their clients and their caregivers.

“I read thank you notes from families all the time saying, ‘We couldn’t have done this without you,’ or ‘My mother loves her caregiver,’” says Lori. “After I was in the business a couple of years, I realized one day that my business has created jobs and livelihoods for many people. It’s great work!”

Lori credits her ability to lead teams and foster a positive problem-solving mindset with her team to her success in a fast paced, client-centric business. Additionally, Lori has developed business partnerships with health care facilities, physicians, insurance and community organizations in order to expand and enhance the local cross continuum of care network.

In her free time, Lori and her husband Mike enjoy water sports, such as kayaking, fishing and boating. She also spends time with good friends and family, which always helps her to relax and recharge.
