Care Available 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week.
Homewatch Caregivers in Crystal Lake, Il is a wonderful agency. One of my clients was in need of companion care. Her social support system was limited and she seemed to be regressing in terms of independence. Homewatch provided a fantastic companion that assisted this client in getting back into the community to shop, get her hair done and get to social activities. I highly recommend Homewatch Caregivers in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

At Crystal Lake home care we want you and your family to get the appropriate services for your needs. One of the best things we do for people being discharged from the hospital or rehab is to support their transition with in home care services. Home health (skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, etc.) are prescribed by the doctor to ensure recovery continues. The cost and resource constraints of long hospital stays are gone--for example, the average hospital stay for hip replacement surgery in 1991 was nearly 10 days and today it is just over 3days. Adherence to therapy and medications is critical, but while home health can support that transition they are usually only there for 2-3 days a week and for an hour or less. Much of the compliance to therapy and medication is the patient’s responsibility. This is where home care can help, by removing the burden of daily activities such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, bathing assistance, medication reminders and more. We keep the healing process moving forward and can monitor that gains are being made.
After a doctor’s visit or stay in the hospital, skilled care in the home is arranged in order to get you or a loved one back on your feet. Home healthcare includes:
Home care is about sustaining and maintaining your loved one’s quality of life in their home by assisting with activities of daily living:
While a skilled home healthcare professional changes your loved one’s prescriptions, an in-home caregiver helps them remember to take medications day in and day out. A home healthcare agency can change your loved one’s therapy if it’s not working, and an in-home caregiver is there to encourage them to accomplish those therapies. At Homewatch CareGivers' our person-directed approach to caregiving helps an individual to the best of their current abilities so that they continue to feel empowered and fulfilled.
