Homewatch CareGivers is currently accepting applications for home health aides and live-in caregivers at our Northbrook office. Your duty is to provide top-notch in-home care for people of all ages. Duties include companion care, housekeeping, transportation, meal preparation and personal care. We are hiring for 12- to 24-hour live-in shifts for senior home care cases and childcare cases. Homewatch serves Chicago, Cook and Lake Counties, and the Northshore area. Homewatch offers a competitive hourly wage with direct deposit, flexible hours, paid orientation and training, referral bonuses, and insurance packages. We will also share the cost of additional career training. REQUIREMENTS

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Director of Community Relations will create and maintain professional relationships with referral sources (such as physicians, assisted living facilities, independent living communities, hospital personnel, case managers, and social workers) to generate home and elderly care patient referrals. Your referrals should continue to grow over time and will contribute to the revenue and growth of the agency. You will prioritize activities to meet our home care agency’s specified growth projections. You will aim to meet and exceed our development targets, and establish and maintain market awareness. You will serve as a pivotal liaison between potential clients, current clients, and the home care agency staff.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate has experience in home health care sales, and has physician contacts in or near the Northshore and the Chicagoland. You possess a bachelor’s degree, related healthcare experience, and have knowledge of the home care industry. You have at least one year of sales experience with proven results, and prior experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred. You are a self-motivated, result oriented person with excellent verbal communication and presentation skills and a professional image. You are computer literate and have experience using Microsoft Office and salesforce.com. You understand how to create sales plans and a territory routing schedule. You are able to work efficiently in order to maximize time spent with community decision makers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Administrative Assistant manages the home care agency’s files and computer databases, and provides support to our home care staff. You will support the new hire process by checking the references of potential employees. In addition, you are responsible for collecting and recording the information from the caregiver log and time sheets, and entering the information into the Homewatch computer database. You will maintain and manage employee and client files; provide office and clerical support, including marketing support as directed; and support staff as needed to maintain business operations. You are responsible for transferring the telephone system to on-call staff at the end of each business day.

REQUIREMENTS

You are extremely organized, a motivated team player, and possess team leadership skills. You are able to communicate clearly and effectively over the phone, and can efficiently identify and solve problems to respond calmly to client’s needs. You are reliable, display professionalism, and have the ability and desire to learn new things. You can complete office and clerical tasks to support home care agency staff, and use Microsoft Office and other software applications. To be considered, you must pass a background check and live within 20-miles of Northbrook.
