JOB DESCRIPTION

Caregivers provide paraprofessional home care services to clients (elders, seniors, children and others), in accordance with a personalized service agreement developed by a supervisor after a client needs evaluation. Caregivers help our clients enjoy a higher quality of life through fulfillment of these home care assignments. Our Caregivers may be involved in providing companionship, transportation, and/or personal services to meet the needs of our clients, who may be seniors or others who are recovering from injury or illness, rehabilitating or convalescing. REQUIREMENTS

Caregivers must be reliable, dependable, honest and caring, with a strong service orientation. They must also be able to communicate effectively and function with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with our clients. Although we provide comprehensive training opportunities, prior experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or nursing home is a plus. To be able to provide transportation services, Caregivers must possess a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance and have access to a vehicle. Physical requirements include ability to bend, climb, stoop and stand an average of five hours per day, and to lift 20-30 pounds.
