Care Available 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week.
For the six months, I have used two caregivers from HomeWatch-CareGivers to care for my wife who has Alzheimer's disease. We met several times with Tanya F., who was very helpful answering our questions and make decisions about my wife's care.
We voted unanimously to go with HWCG. It was apparent to us, early on, that we made the right decision. The caregivers bonded well with my wife and both showed my wife a great deal of understanding; couple with treating her with dignity and respect.

Many believe home health and home care provide the same services, and while they are similar there is a difference between home care and home health care. Home health care is best described as care that is limited and intermittent. This would include any at home Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), or Registered Nursing (RN) services that would be needed after a medical episode. One client, a 65-year old woman who had knee replacement surgery, had her PT appointments at home. While the PT helps her with her recovery on the medical side, home care definitely works hand in hand with these services. She used a caregiver throughout her recovery to help her complete her therapy exercises, doing some of the chores around the house, helping her run errands, and meal preparation. We were available to her for as many or as few hours as she needs during her recovery. Carlsbad home care services are more focused on supporting recovery by being able to provide support on all fronts.
After a doctor’s visit or stay in the hospital, skilled care in the home is arranged in order to get you or a loved one back on your feet. Home healthcare includes:
Home care is about sustaining and maintaining your loved one’s quality of life in their home by assisting with activities of daily living:
While a skilled home healthcare professional changes your loved one’s prescriptions, an in-home caregiver helps them remember to take medications day in and day out. A home healthcare agency can change your loved one’s therapy if it’s not working, and an in-home caregiver is there to encourage them to accomplish those therapies. At Homewatch CareGivers' our person-directed approach to caregiving helps an individual to the best of their current abilities so that they continue to feel empowered and fulfilled.
