Care for All Ages in St. Louis

At Homewatch CareGivers of St. Louis we are known for helping seniors live independently, but we provide care for clients of all ages, not just the elderly. For example, we babysit children ranging from three months to eight years old through what is called backup child care. If a child gets sick and has to stay home from school, we "backup" his parents so they can go to work. Most of our caregivers have raised children of their own, so they have the experience needed to care for children. We also take care of disabled individuals of all ages. We've helped teenagers through middle-age clients who suffer from mental illness, obesity, or paralysis. Drawing from professional and personal experiences alike, our caregivers are well-equipped to take care of clients of all ages.

If you have health problems develop during a pregnancy that make it high-risk you may require some additional assistance in the home. If a doctor’s order limits activities or requires the client to be on bed-rest, our caregivers can help manage the day-to-day tasks around the home, assist with activities of daily living, plan and prepare healthy meals.
Complications can arise after the birth of a child, and there is a chance that everyone will be tired and in need of extra help at home in those first few days. Homewatch CareGivers can assist with light housekeeping, laundry, healthy meal planning as well as more personal care assistance for you and the new addition to your family. We can help you get the rest you will need to recover for as little or as long as needed to get you on your feet again during this postpartum period.
Our senior care specialists help your loved one stay independent by helping with personal care issues, like grooming and bathing, to daily living activities, like housekeeping, errands or transportation when they need to get to an appointment. We create our senior-care plans by working with you – our plans are customizable and flexible based on a person’s changing needs over time. Senior care is about having a meaningful connection with a perfectly matched caregiver who can be there to alleviate any feelings of loneliness and helplessness.
When parents miss work due to a child’s illness or there is a breakdown in childcare arrangements, Homewatch CareGivers can help. We are uniquely capable of staffing a compassionate and trained caregiver even at the very last minute to care for your child, healthy or mildly ill, in an engaging and age-appropriate manner. Many of our caregivers are mothers and grandmothers and not only have personal experience with caring for the young, but also have been specially trained in child care to make sure that the experience is enriching and enjoyable for all.
When the whole family plans to attend a special event out of town, consider caregiving services to help out a family member who might need more attention. We will focus on the details needed to provide quality care so that the family can focus on the details of a quality memory in the making. Whether going out for lunch, attending a play, coffee with an old friend, or attending a granddaughter's wedding or a grandson's Bar Mitzvah, our flexible home care services will keep you safely engaged in the lifestyle you choose to lead.
