Care Available 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week.
I am working with Homewatch Caregivers and I can't express how thankful and lucky I was to find them. My mother was recently diagnosed with Early Onset Dementia in 2011 and this has been a rollar coaster of emotions, stress and heartache for the entire family, in particular my father who is her primary caretaker. Homewatch Caregivers has been my father's refuge as they have been able to provide top-notch quality care for my mother. They are a pleasure to work with and are highly professional.

At Homewatch CareGivers in Westbury, where we serve people
living in Nassau County, we have provided care for many clients living in all
different stages of dementia.
One of our clients was a mother of four adult children who
had become concerned for their mother’s safety as her dementia progressed.
Although this woman could still care for herself in her own home, there were
increasing limitations and concerns about whether she could safely cook for
herself or take medications correctly. Our caregivers were able to spend time
with her to get her outside to exercise regularly and to socialize. We also
kept her cognitively engaged by playing games, listening to music, doing art,
cooking together—all of these were things that were based on her interests. In
fact, her husband had been a tailor, so whenever we had an activity that
involved cutting paper she was thrilled because this brought back find memories
of working with him.
