    Mitchell Abrams is the Managing Director of Homewatch CareGivers, a leading national provider of In-Home Care Service for the past 35 years. As a leading Home Care expert, he has serviced as a Commissioner on the Northbrook Senior Service Commission, lead the Board of Directors for The Elder Services Network of Chicago & served on the Board of Directors for Maot Chitim.

    Prior to joining Homewatch CareGivers, Mr. Abrams honed his business development and financial expertise serving as The Senior Vice President of Sales & Business Development for DMX, working as the Managing Partner at TV Consulting Group and held multiple positions including the Executive Director of Global Accounts at MCI Communications.

    Educated at the University of Illinois in Champaign Urbana, Mr. Abrams received a Bachelor of Science in Finance with an Investment Banking concentration. Later he earned a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University.

    His leadership at Homewatch CareGivers resulted in numerous awards including multiple years of Caring.com Caring Champions Award, multiple years as the Home Care Pulse Best of Home Care Provider of Choice and Employer of Choice. Countless Homewatch International awards such as the Trailblazer Award, Greatest Revenue Increase Awards and the Turn Around Award.

    A talented writer and highly entertaining presenter, Abrams has written 24 training & education books. He as presented at Fortune 100 companies such as Ameritech, AT&T, Bell South, GTE, Lucent, MCI, Verizon Wireless and WorldCom. Abrams has delivered numerous educational health care presentations to hospitals including Condell, Lake Forest, Presence, Resurrection, RUSH, U of I Hospital, University of Chicago Medical Center. Senior housing, rehabilitation and hospice organizations have benefited from his educational talks at locations such as Brookdale, Gentiva, IL Bone & Joint, North Shore Senior Center, Seasons Hospice, Sedgebrook and Sunrise Senior Living.

    Chris has been with Homewatch for almost a year as a Client Services Manager and Scheduler. He works closely with the office team, providing hands-on training to caregivers and ensuring that client and caregiver schedules run seamlessly. Chris has 5 years of experience in healthcare, working at Little City Foundation with a focus on children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He also held a position as Managing Scheduler at Brookdale, coordinating services for residents and overseeing over 25 staff members.

    Leslie has worked with Homewatch for over 5 years functioning as a Client Services Manager, Scheduler and now Director of Client Relations. She works closely with both clients and caregivers to ensure we provide seamless best in class in-home care. Prior to joining the Homewatch team, Leslie worked at Swedish Covenant Hospital as a Mental Health Counselor, working with directly with inpatient psychiatric patients for over 9 years.

    Kathy has been with the Homewatch team for over a year as the Financial Operations Manager. She ensures that billing and payroll are completed efficiently and works closely with Long Term Care insurance agencies to safeguard that our clients receive the full extent of their benefits. Kathy holds over 10 years of accounting experience in the home care business prior to coming to Homewatch CareGivers.

    Liz is a seasoned talent and development specialist with case management and QIDP experience in the development disability space. She holds advanced education degrees in Industrial Organizational Psychology with a focus on geriatric care and support.

Prior to joining the Homewatch team, Amanda was a Case Manager at Dupage County Senior services for 5 years, completing assessments to determine eligibility for in-home services. She received her Masters in Social Work at Aurora University
