    Job Description:

    Caring for an ill, aging, or disabled person can be a very rewarding experience. Homewatch CareGivers of South Aurora is currently seeking reliable, caring, compassionate and mature caregivers who are sincerely interested in improving the lives of those we serve.

    A caregiver functions as an advocate, supporter, and educator to individuals who are ill, aging, or disabled. Depending on the individual, caregivers provide assistance with housekeeping, activities of daily living, health maintenance, and medication reminders. Most importantly, the goal is to provide services to enrich the lives of our clients to live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives.


· Able to work an average of 20-40 hours per week

· Must be able to be on-call!

· Must be able to work weekends!

· Able to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 5 hours per day.

· Able to life 20-30 pounds.

· Able to use tools necessary for job.

· Compassionate and caring demeanor

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· 18 years or older

· Must pass local, state, and national criminal background check

· Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
