Care Available 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week.
I have a veteran receiving services through Homewatch Caregivers. He said they have been wonderful; nice as can be and they will do anything I ask them. I told him I would pass it on to the owners and he said, “Which one?” He has met both owners because they have personally come out to his home. I feel that this patient probably does not need skilled home health because of the attention he has been given. Not the first time I have heard good things about this agency.

tend to think that home care and home health care in Boise are the same thing. When
someone calls and says that their Mom needs physical therapy or their doctor
gave their Mom a prescription, we know they are actually in need of home health
care. However, during our conversation we will ask them what is going on and
learn that their Mom lives alone and family members cannot be there to provide
transportation for medical appointments or to help with showers. Home health
care can be there to help with physical therapy or occupational therapy for a
few hours, but often people need to be monitored for the first 48 hours after a
hospital stay and we can be there for them.
After a doctor’s visit or stay in the hospital, skilled care in the home is arranged in order to get you or a loved one back on your feet. Home healthcare includes:
Home care is about sustaining and maintaining your loved one’s quality of life in their home by assisting with activities of daily living:
While a skilled home healthcare professional changes your loved one’s prescriptions, an in-home caregiver helps them remember to take medications day in and day out. A home healthcare agency can change your loved one’s therapy if it’s not working, and an in-home caregiver is there to encourage them to accomplish those therapies. At Homewatch CareGivers' our person-directed approach to caregiving helps an individual to the best of their current abilities so that they continue to feel empowered and fulfilled.
