Care Available 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week.
I have a veteran receiving services through Homewatch Caregivers. He said they have been wonderful; nice as can be and they will do anything I ask them. I told him I would pass it on to the owners and he said, “Which one?” He has met both owners because they have personally come out to his home. I feel that this patient probably does not need skilled home health because of the attention he has been given. Not the first time I have heard good things about this agency.

Dementia Care in Boise requires not just educated and
trained caregivers, but those who understand that someone living with dementia
may sometimes say or do things that are annoying or hard to handle and it’s not
the person, it’s their disease. We do have caregivers who take it as a
challenge to understand what this person’s life was like before their disease
and get them to open up. They get that there’s a person wrapped deep inside
there somewhere that needs their understanding.
One of our clients was a former member of the state
legislature. When a caregiver would communicate with her about bathing or
eating, she was angry. One day someone commented, “I just want to express my
appreciation for your time in the state legislature.” This woman changed in an
instant and became bright and happy. She had been living in a memory care unit,
but her family moved her back home so that she had more freedom under the watchful
of one of our caregivers.
