Care Available 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week.
I could not get along without Homewatch CareGivers. Except for the aides who come every day, I don’t really see anybody anymore. All my friends are gone to greener pastures. They watch out for me. We get along very well. They are like family. I think it is a wonderful service. I would not have any hesitation to recommend Homewatch to anybody, and I am not getting paid to say that.

At Homewatch CareGivers of Grand Rapids, our caregivers are trained in chronic condition care, including care for those living with diabetes, lung disease,
compromised immune systems, arthritis, stroke, COPD, and cancer.
One of our
regular clients who is in the advanced stages of multiple sclerosis (MS) needs help with daily care
such as transfers with a slide board and colostomy care. Our caregiver knows the basics, and also receives on-the-job
training. The client and her husband have been incredibly welcoming to our caregiver.
In fact, they consider her part of the family and a friend.
This MS client
really loves to scrapbook, and has a room dedicated to this hobby in her home.
Since MS has taken away her ability to use her hands and some of her sight, the caregiver spends a
lot time scrapbooking with the client once the normal caregiving and
housekeeping tasks are completed. Scrapbooking is a joy for both the client and
the caregiver. Many memories have been preserved and created through this
