Signing Up for Urgent Senior Care is Easy
with Homewatch CareGivers
We know that life doesn't always fit into your plans. When an urgent senior care need arises due to an unplanned discharge from a hospital or skilled nursing facility, you are often not prepared. Whether you are across town or three states away, securing care for your loved one's urgent needs can be a quick and effortless process.
Our Quick Response Guarantee
Our office is staffed to take phone calls as they come in throughout the work day. After hours, all calls are forwarded to a dedicated on-call person from our office who can take the call and provide information and assistance. We respond to emails within 1 hour during normal business hours, within 2 hours outside of normal business hours.
Doing it all Remotely
All clients need to be evaluated by one of our Registered Nurses and have a written plan of care developed before services can be started. We can start taking care of our clients immediately; even when their adult children are not available in person. However, the service agreement and paperwork will need to be completed by a responsible part and can be handled via fax or electronic signature when necessary. Consequently, we can assist most clients with a seamless discharge from a facility.
Client Evaluation
Yes. However, the client must be seen by a Registered Nurse before services can begin.
Completing the Paperwork
Our nurse can complete all necessary paperwork during the evaluation in the home or at the facility. If paperwork is completed in the facility, the nurse will also want to see the client in the home in order to advise the home care aide on how safely to care for our client. We can accept signed faxed copies when a signature is required from an individual other than the client. We can also accept electronic signatures when necessary.
Starting Care within 4 Hours of First Contact
We pride ourselves on being able to begin providing quality care to our clients within 4 hours of first contact when necessary in an emergency situation. We know you can't always plan life's events in advance.
