We are proud to announce that Homewatch CareGivers of Orange has officially become a vendor with the Regional Center of Orange County (RCOC)! This partnership marks an important milestone in our mission to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families across Orange County.

Why This Matters

The Regional Center of Orange County provides essential, community-based services and supports to people with developmental disabilities. Orange County Developmental Services By joining RCOC’s vendor network, Homewatch CareGivers of Orange now has a strengthened pathway to offer our services under the RCOC system of supports and purchase-of-service programs. This means:

  • More families served through eligibility and funding avenues they already know and trust

  • Seamless coordination with RCOC case managers and service plans

  • Closer alignment with the standards, oversight, and accountability that RCOC requires

  • The potential to expand and tailor our offerings to better meet community needs

Our Commitment to People with Developmental Disabilities

At Homewatch CareGivers of Orange, our core values center on dignity, respect, and customized care. As an RCOC-approved vendor, we will bring those values into every interaction with people served under RCOC’s umbrella. Some of the ways we look forward to contributing:

  1. Person-Centered Care
We will work closely with each individual and their support network to build care plans that honor personal preferences, routines, and goals.

  2. Supports for Daily Living & Independence
Whether it’s assistance with household tasks, transportation, community outings, or companionship, our caregivers are trained to empower independence.

  3. Respite & Family Relief
Families caring for a loved one with developmental disabilities need breaks, too. We’re committed to offering dependable respite services so caregivers can rest, recharge, or attend to other obligations.

  4. Coordination & Collaboration
To serve clients effectively, we’ll coordinate with RCOC case managers, behavioral health providers, therapists, and other stakeholders — ensuring continuity, consistency, and safety.

  5. Training & Quality Assurance
As an RCOC vendor, we will maintain rigorous standards of training, supervision, and accountability. Our team will undergo ongoing education so we stay current with best practices in developmental disability care.

Looking Ahead

We are energized by the opportunity ahead. Over the coming months, we aim to:

  • Introduce our services to families currently connected with RCOC

  • Attend community resource fairs and RCOC events

  • Gather feedback from clients, families, and interdisciplinary providers to continuously improve

  • Expand our caregiver team where demand warrants

If you or someone you know is served by the Regional Center of Orange County and could benefit from home care supports, we’d love to hear from you. Please reach out to our office to explore possibilities or to schedule a consultation.

Thank you to RCOC for entrusting us with this opportunity. Together, we’ll strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities and their families throughout our community.
