I am Ashley Hill, a co-owner of Homewatch CareGivers of Westlake. I started my career in home care at Homewatch CareGivers in Beachwood, Ohio with Eric and Rosey Malkin, who are now my co-owners here.
My passion for in home care began quite young. As a child, I accompanied my grandmother as she took turns with her sisters to spend the night at my great grandmother’s and provide her care. After my great grandmother passed, I watched my beloved grandmother live with Alzheimer’s disease. Now my mother is living with the diagnosis too. I know firsthand what it’s like to watch a loved one develop a new reality and have changing needs. I invite you to watch my video to learn more about my journey with home care and Alzheimer’s disease.

Schedule An Introductory CallEric Malkin, owner of Homewatch CareGivers serving Beachwood, Ohio was inspired to start his business in 2006 after a dear aunt was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Eric has an MBA and earned a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) designation, which shows that he is competent and knowledgeable about working with seniors. “I am ultimately responsible for every caregiver that comes into your home and for the care that is delivered to each of our families,” he says. “We do our best, through our client management model, to personally meet with each of our clients to understand their needs and how we can be of help.” Eric, whose background is in finance, takes his work with his clients seriously and has been trained in CPR and First Aid. In an effort to create a unique career path for his caregivers, Eric formed a second company called CEFA (Community Employment For All) that finds individuals with developmental disabilities jobs and supports them through independence in the work place. This northeastern Ohio native embraces golf in summer, “survives” winters by playing tennis and racquetball (“Though I wouldn’t miss the winters, I love this city and marvel at all that is has to offer,” Eric adds), and passionately cheers on Cleveland teams. He is inspired by his work daily. “I love to reward our caregivers and be part of a perfect match when a caregiver practically becomes part of our client’s family,” Eric says.
