Used for a few weeks of post op (rotator cuff) care including hygiene, laundry, simple meals, simple cleaning, etc. Really great experience and would recommend. I was assigned Segun and was very happy.

Matthew was so kind and compassionate, meeting me within a few hours after my call requesting help. Our meeting at my home put me to ease immediately at a very stressful time. He was so professional, calming and thorough with the intake process. Thereafter, he had his staff at my home within an hour to care for my mother-in-law. Naomi and Jeanette are true professionals who provided the necessary immediate care she needed with professionalism and compassion. They respected both her dignity and extreme level of pain while performing the many necessary care giving tasks required. Jeanette arrived early the following day and immediately got to work assisting my mother-in-law and ensuring she had each task completed thoroughly and carefully. She is such a kind, gentle and caring caregiver. I cannot say enough about my recommendation for Homewatch Caregivers of Bakersfield. Should my family ever require services in the future, Matthew will be my first call. We went from being completely overwhelmed to being put at immediate ease with confidence once we met and saw what this staff can do. They were definitely angels in our hour of need. I can't say enough about Diane . She was there when I needed help and also helped me attain independence. She helped me take showers, walked my dog, cleaned my kitchen and made me lunch. She did anything I asked her to do, with a cheerful face and smile that lit up the room.

They have been helping my father out for just about 2 weeks. I have found them to be incredibly helpful, but also accomodating, and easy to work with as far as adjusting hours. They have been very responsive and quick to share updates and have really helped to give us confidence that our father is in good hands and getting the help he needs.
We have been with Homewatch for 5 months now, and we've been really pleased with the service. Relieved, actually! Mom started needing some extra help at the end of last year, and since my sister and I are both working, we knew we needed to bring someone else in to make sure Mom was okay with day-to-day things, and making sure she has her oxygen on, etc. We started out with one caregiver, but are now with a young lady named Ledora, and she has been a great fit for my Mom. She knows when to push a little on helping my Mom, but she also knows when to step back and let my mother do something herself (she's a very independent person). Matthew and Grace have been great in terms of flexibility and scheduling. We are very grateful for the level of care our mother is receiving from Homewatch.

My son’s caregiver/babysitter Ana has been nothing short of wonderful — compassionate, patient, dependable, and truly dedicated. She treated my son with genuine love and respect, always making sure he felt safe, comfortable, and happy. It gave me such deep peace of mind knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. She went above and beyond in every possible way, always doing everything she could to meet our needs. Her flexibility, understanding, and kindness were constant — anytime and all the time. My husband suffered a stroke almost seven years ago, and our Homewatch aide makes it possible for me to attend to appointments and errands with peace of mind. Jahari has a great attitude and has a great rapport with my husband. I think my husband really appreciates companionship and care from a male aide, and Jay is always ready to watch a game or share a laugh. We're very happy with Homewatch.
