Homewatch CareGivers of Cincinnati was born out of family, compassion, and necessity. For us, caregiving isn’t just a business, it’s personal. We saw firsthand how the home care industry often falls short: caregivers underpaid and undervalued, families left stressed and unsupported, and clients receiving a one-size-fits-all approach instead of care tailored to their unique needs.
Our mission is simple but profound: to raise the standard of care, to honor the dignity of every client, and to create a culture where caregivers are respected, trained, and supported because a caregiver who is cared for cares more.
Our journey started long before Homewatch CareGivers of Cincinnati opened its doors. Neal returned to Louisville to help care for his stepfather, who is living with advanced Parkinson’s disease. Emily, at the same time, cared for her mother in Cincinnati, who battled dementia until she recently passed.
Through these experiences, we lived the challenges that families face every day, exhaustion, worry, and the heartache of watching someone you love struggle. Neal even joined a home care agency so his stepfather’s long-term care insurance could be used and soon was asked to help another client nearby. That single “yes” turned into a year of caregiving that opened his eyes to the reality of the industry, good people trying their best but working within a broken system.
This is not just a company to us. It’s a continuation of our family’s story and now, your story too.
