His passion for home care began when his grandfather became seriously ill, and Arthur saw firsthand how the right support at home brought comfort and dignity to his family’s experience. Growing up with a father who is a geriatrician, Arthur learned the importance of quality elder care early on. That influence helped shape his belief that people live longer, happier lives when they remain in their own homes and have compassionate, reliable care. Arthur founded Homewatch CareGivers of Coral Gables with that philosophy in mind, creating a service that allows families throughout South Florida to receive professional, personalized support from caregivers they can trust. Arthur is dedicated to helping families navigate the care process with ease and confidence. His focus is on delivering not only reliable care, but also peace of mind—ensuring every client receives the respect, comfort, and personal attention they deserve.

I’m Yoselin Monzón, I’m a proud Venezuelan immigrant who came to the United States with a heart full of dreams and the determination to build a better life for myself and my family. I was blessed to grow up in a close, loving family that taught me the importance of sacrifice, perseverance, and determination values that have guided me through every challenge and every new beginning. I hold a degree in Law, but my true calling has always been helping others and working in the medical field. In Venezuela, becoming a doctor wasn’t possible for me, but I’ve never been one to accept the word “impossible.” When I arrived in this country, I started from scratch, working hard to create new opportunities and bring my loved ones with me. That same determination led me to pursue a career in nursing, a field that allows me to do what I love most: care for others and make a difference in their lives. Before moving to the U.S., I worked at Cisneros Corporation, one of the most respected business groups in Venezuela a global company with over 90 years of experience. There, as part of the Tax and Legal Management Department, I developed strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills that continue to help me in my professional life today. Now, I’m proud to be part of the Homewatch Caregivers family, where I’ve found not just a workplace, but a community that shares my values of compassion, respect, and dedication. Every day, I care for the patients as if they were part of my own family and that connection reminds me that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. My journey is one of resilience, gratitude, and faith. I truly believe that with effort, love, and a grateful heart, dreams do come true.

Wilma Rivera brings more than 30 years of experience in the home health and staffing industry, along with a remarkable story of perseverance and dedication. Born in Camagüey, Cuba, Wilma arrived in the United States in the late 1960s and worked tirelessly to build her career while raising four children as a single mother. Over the years, she became a respected leader in home care operations, known for her expertise in staffing, compliance, and management. Her background includes working with state and federal programs and ensuring that home care agencies meet the highest standards of quality and accountability. At Homewatch CareGivers of Coral Gables, Wilma oversees day-to-day operations, team development, and client satisfaction. Her professionalism, compassion, and deep understanding of the aging population make her an essential part of the organization. Wilma’s drive to help others live comfortably and independently continues to inspire those around her.

Maria Slater is an experienced registered nurse and healthcare leader with a background in critical care and organizational development. She began her career as an ICU nurse, earning her Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification and developing a strong foundation in patient safety and clinical excellence. Maria earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and is currently pursuing an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her blend of clinical expertise and business acumen allows her to guide both caregivers and families with professionalism and compassion. At Homewatch CareGivers of Coral Gables, Maria leads the nursing team, oversees caregiver training, and ensures that every care plan meets the highest standards of quality. She is passionate about improving patient outcomes and empowering her staff to deliver exceptional care. Outside of work, Maria enjoys spending time in South Florida with her husband, two young sons, and two dogs. She loves exercising, cooking, and finding balance between family life and her career in healthcare.
