Tanya Finnerty, CSA
Owner & President
For Tanya Finnerty, home care is more than a profession — it’s a calling rooted in compassion and community. As President and Owner of Homewatch CareGivers of North San Diego and Temecula since 2011, Tanya has dedicated her work to helping older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they cherish most — home. After decades of professional experience in another industry, Tanya felt drawn toward work that made a deeply personal difference in people’s lives. She saw the growing need for families to have trusted support as loved ones age, and she knew she wanted to be part of that solution. Her background in leadership, team-building, and customer care gave her the tools — but it’s her heart for service that truly defines her approach. Tanya has built her agencies around one simple belief: care should feel personal, respectful, and full of dignity. She takes pride in creating not only a dependable care service for families, but also a supportive workplace where caregivers feel valued, heard, and inspired to give their best. One of Tanya’s greatest joys is meeting new clients and their families. She takes time to listen to their stories, understand their concerns, and learn what truly matters to them. She knows that inviting someone into your home is an act of trust, and she honors that by ensuring every client receives thoughtful attention and compassionate, high-quality care. For Tanya, this work is about more than assistance with daily tasks — it’s about preserving independence, easing family worries, and bringing comfort, companionship, and peace of mind to the people she serves.
