What Is Non-Medical Home Care?
Home care is at the heart of Homewatch CareGivers. It’s what we do and what we’re all about. In-home care is intended to help your loved one sustain and maintain their quality of life, all while making sure they are safe and comfortable in the process.
Non-Medical Home care may include:
- Personal grooming, like bathing or dressing
- Assistance moving around one’s home, in and out of the bed or shower, etc.
- Companion Services
- Homemaker Services
- Errands like grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions
What Is Home Healthcare?
Those who receive home healthcare may be recovering from a procedure or illness or living with a degenerative disorder. Often, the need is brought to light as a result of a doctor’s visit or hospital stay. Home healthcare is provided by medical professionals.
Home healthcare includes services such as:
- Skilled nursing assistance
- At-home physical therapy
- Pain management
- Caring for wounds
- Prescription management
