Homewatch has been the best thing to happen to my family after dealing with several different companies. I contacted Grace on Christmas in need of emergency care. She showed up the same day and provided me care for that night. I was very impressed with grace and how professional everything turned out to be with her in detail about the help I needed it. The care that was to be given. Needless to say I hired her on. if you need someone to show up for your loved ones without hesitation, hands-down grace is your go to. I've been using Homewatch CareGivers of Bakersfield for 4 months now (started in Oct 2025) and so far they've been very helpful!!! My Mom was diagnosed with Bulbar-Onset ALS 2 years ago and now she's starting to have trouble getting around and communicating. I live 3hrs away, so I have 3 different caretakers from Homewatch going to her house every week for just 2hrs/day (will increase as needed) and they are awesome. Matthew coordinates everything and the ladies are so nice, friendly, helpful, and caring. Thank you for all that you do for me and my Mom!!

Although we haven’t made any final decisions about moving forward yet, we were extremely impressed with how speedy and timely this group was. They were quick to touch base with us, met with us in our home, and took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. When facing big decisions that can sometimes feel overwhelming, it was very reassuring to have such helpful, and professional guidance.

From the start of service home watch caregivers have been there to take care of my mother-in-law. We live hours away and we depend on Grace and her crew. Communication has been wonderful. The service is great. I recommend how much caregivers of Bakersfield to take care of anybody’s loved one.
Homewatch Caregivers have been amazing! To begin, my 92 year old mother can be a very difficult person; however, the caregivers have been very kind, thoughtful, and patient with her. The caregivers attend faithfully to her needs and are genuinely concern for her overall well-being. The administrators have been very professional, fair, and extremely accomodating by adjusting the caregivers schedule, as she has had some health problems recently. I am so thankful for the services they provide for my mother, since I am currently out of state receiving cancer treatment.
Grace & Matthew have been great in assisting w/care for my 99yr old grandfather. The caregivers are very attentive to him. They provide him companionship, exercise schedules, grooming, meals, appointments. You name it they provide it! They are able to connect with him, which is sometimes hard for a senior that age who are set in their ways. Barb, Jessica, and Rayli are all amazing! I would definitely recommend this company.
Maria Martinez has become like a family member to me helping me for the last seven months. I only have to ask Maria one time and show her what I need her to do and leave her to do it at her own pace. Everything gets done and I feel so taken care of. She never hesitates at anything I asked her to do. She has shopped for me, taken me to my appointments, and massaged my sore shoulders. She has helped me bathe and dress and does a great job of styling my hair. No task is too small or large. She helps me when I need it the most especially emotional support. She understands how difficult it is to be disabled. Yet she still manages to help instill a sense of humor in our time together.
