Schedule An Introductory CallI am the proud owner of Homewatch CareGivers serving Central Bucks County. Before becoming a small business owner, I worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in a local hospital. From this experience I gained the experience to work for a home care agency as their Human Resource Manager, where I started to understand the characteristics necessary to be an exceptional caregiver. Eventually, I took on the role of the agency’s Client Care Coordinator where I gained understanding about the needs of the clients by matching the perfect caregiver to complete the client’s care. This is where I began to appreciate the true impact of individualizing care based on the client’s established routine. I had discovered my true passion and calling in life and decided to open my own home care agency to serve the community. My husband, Andy, and I each have adults sons who we treasure. Together, Andy and I have two four-legged babies, Mia and Marco. When we’re not at work, we like to travel and see the world.
I have worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in many areas of health care including hospitals, nursing home/rehab and home care. My experiences have led me to a detailed skillset that provides comfort and assistance to those in need of home care. I transitioned from being a CNA to a staffing coordinator and learned a lot about the administration of home care and saw that I wanted to further my education in Health Policy and Administration. I was very lucky and fortunate to join the team at Homewatch CareGivers in 2020! My husband, Ryan, and I have two four-legged babies and a bright future together ahead of us!
I’m Wanda Whittington I have a wealth of experience in home care and healthcare leadership; I bring a strong foundation in compassionate caregiving, team coordination, and operational excellence. My journey began as a caregiver, supporting families with daily living needs and emotional support. I later served in leadership roles where I oversaw multi-department operations and built strategic partnerships to improve care delivery. Most recently, I worked as a Field Supervisor as well as a Regional CNA Floater where I focused on quality assurance, team leadership, and patient-centered care. What fueled my passion for healthcare throughout the years has been creating meaningful connections with caregivers’ clients, community being a bridge making sure everyone feels valued and cared for. I’m excited to be a part of a team that truly makes a difference in people’s lives every day.
After a career in Marketing, Sales, and Business Development, I found my true calling in working with people and providing them the resources they need to be happy and fulfilled in their lives, even when they need a little help at home. I grew up surrounded by love and compassion and learned at a very early age what it meant to be a caretaker, both physically and emotionally. My sister had leukemia and my brother was born with disabilities. Although they have both since passed away, I will always remember their beautiful smiles, love, and appreciation for family and friends. One of my favorite quotes sums up caregiving for me: “Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” My husband Dean and I have been happily married for 33 years. We have a lovely 29-year-old daughter, Alex, who is a registered nurse.
Born in Kiev, Ukraine, I immigrated with my family to Cherry Hill, NJ, in 1991. I now live in Doylestown, PA, with my husband and two children. With over 20 years in healthcare, focusing on hospice and home care, I am passionate about providing compassionate, professional, and ethical care to patients and their families. Since October 2025, I’ve served as Compliance Officer at Homewatch CareGivers, bringing my experience and dedication to ensure every client receives exceptional care, while supporting families with warmth and attention. At Homewatch CareGivers, family values and outstanding care are at the heart of everything we do. "Nothing is worth more than this day." – Goethe
Hi, my name is Pam. I am a Staffing Coordinator at Homewatch CareGivers of Central Bucks County. I began my professional career working in sales and management as well as business consulting. After spending many years in the corporate world, I answered a calling to care for my elderly family members. It filled my heart to have an opportunity to give back to the ones who have given me so much. Helping them live as comfortably as possible and seeing them smile everyday brought true meaning to my life. During this time, I developed a true passion for caregiving. As my time caring for elderly family members came to an end, I had a strong desire to pursue a role in Home Healthcare. I knew working in this industry would enable me to help people receive care in the place where they are most comfortable - their home. I enjoy connecting with our amazing clients and helping to facilitate care for their loved ones. One of my favorites quotes is: "The simple act of caring is heroic". I have three beautiful children and two grandchildren who bring true joy and happiness to my life.
Effective home care starts with a comprehensive home audit to provide the client with a safe and familiar setting.
