How We Got Started in the Home Care Business
Homewatch CareGivers of Lockport offers specialized non-medical home care services to clients of all ages including seniors, disabled and all others needing assistance to maintain their quality of life.
We have over 30 years of healthcare and home care experience and are one of the largest networks of home care providers.
The Owner and Administrator of Homewatch CareGivers of Lockport is Dennise Vaughn, MBA, Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Dennise has over 25 years of hospital leadership experience in clinical and support services including 23 years as an executive at Edward Hospital, Naperville. Dennise shared, “Being a mother of four, having a demanding job and seeing how much care my parents and in-laws need helps me really understand what our families are faced with every day. We are here to help.”
Dennise grew up in Homer Glen and is a Lockport Township High School Graduate. She has stayed connected with many classmates and has taken care of many of their parents. “I wanted a Lockport office so that we could be part of the community and build an excellent care team close to all of our families in this area.”
Kathy Soderquist joined Homewatch CareGivers in July 2019. She has been in the Optical industry since 2007. Kathy has managed several Optical/Optometry offices in the area. She is responsible for overseeing office operations, caregiver recruitment and setting standards. She is passionate about helping others, and particularly enjoys helping caregivers achieve their true potential.
All Homewatch CareGivers team members go through an extensive screening including fingerprinting, background checks and reference checking. We exceed the standard of continuous education and quality assurance required to ensure our caregivers have the knowledge and skills necessary to manage our clients’ conditions. We are here for you and we will help you.
