  Job Duties: How our Caregivers Make a Difference in Clients' Lives

  Our caregivers provide care to one or two individuals in clients' own homes, by assisting with:

  • Personal hygiene (showering/bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, changing/incontinence care, etc.)
  • Transfers (getting in and out of bed, a chair, etc)
  • Fall prevention, walking, wheelchairs, etc
  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal prep/cooking
  • Medication reminders
  • Laundry
  • Errands
  • Transportation to appointments
  • Companionship
  • Documentation & reporting changes

  Requirements & Preferences

  • Any of the following caregiving certifications: Massachusetts' CNA (Certified Nursing Aide) license, Certified Home Health Aide, PHCAST Homemaker, PHCAST Personal Care Homemaker (Go to https://mahomecaretraining.org/ to take the free PHCAST trainings)
  • Experienced caregivers without certification are also encouraged to apply, especially if you're willing to complete the free PHCAST trainings!
  • Valid Driver's License & an acceptable driving history
  • Insured vehicle with the caregiver listed as a driver
  • Authorization to work in the United States (Required)
  • Verifiable work history and references (Required)
  • Satisfactory results of all hiring requirements including CORI check, nationwide background check, motor vehicle check (if applicable), OIG & NARIS checks, interview, orientation, etc. (Required)
  • Willingness and ability to complete monthly paid trainings (Required)
  • Age 18+ years old, or 21+ if job duties include driving (Required)
