In-Home Care for Veterans
According to the U.S. Census Bureau data, there are about 19 million veterans aged 18 and older in the United States, with about 13 million aged 50 and older. As these heroes age, they often desire to stay independent and live in their own homes. Many eventually require help with some activities of daily living.
Veteran Benefits for Home Care
Veterans may qualify for VA in-home care benefits called VA Aid and Attendance or Housebound Allowance. These benefits provide eligible veterans and their spouses with funding for a range of in-home care services. Check with the VA to confirm an individual’s eligibility for veterans’ in-home care benefits.
