Linnea has a passion for working with older adults and has worked in the healthcare field for over 16 years. She first started assisting seniors early in her career when she began working in admissions and marketing at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in Northbrook. Linnea subsequently moved on to work with a private duty home care agency in Highland Park. In her role as Client Services Director, Linnea spent her time working with clients and their families to establish their needs, goals, care structure, and ensure they were receiving the highest quality of care every single day. After working in private duty 13 years, Linnea moved on to work with a Geriatric Case Management Company where she supported older adults in managing their medical, financial, and environmental needs. Sherry has been a vital part of the Homewatch CareGivers team for over six years. She began her journey with us as a caregiver, where she quickly stood out for her compassion, dependability, and natural ability to connect with clients. Her dedication and exceptional care didn’t go unnoticed—clients regularly requested Sherry by name, a true testament to the quality of care she provided. Because of her outstanding performance and leadership potential, Sherry was promoted to Scheduling Coordinator. In this role, she brought the same attention to detail and heart-centered approach to managing caregiver schedules and supporting our team. She played an essential part in ensuring that both our caregivers and clients were set up for success every day, and she also contributed significantly to caregiver recruitment. Today, Sherry serves as our Operations Manager—and we truly can’t imagine our Northbrook office without her. She wears many hats with grace and professionalism, juggling schedules, solving problems, supporting caregivers, mentoring new hires, and ensuring our operations run smoothly. Her ability to stay calm under pressure, combined with her deep understanding of both the caregiver and administrative sides of our work, makes her a powerhouse on our team. Sherry is not only incredibly organized and efficient—she leads with kindness, patience, and a deep commitment to our mission. Whether she’s helping a family find the right care, stepping in to assist a team member, or ensuring that every shift is covered seamlessly, she does it all with a positive attitude and a big heart.

Melissa has a strong passion for helping those in need. She was going to school to do something in the medical field. She then began a job as a public housing manager for seniors and those with disabilities. After 23 years she changed career paths and began a job in the mental health field. She worked as a TMS Coordinator at a private psychiatric practice for 3 ½ years. It brought her much fulfillment helping those suffering with depression and anxiety to find relief. She has now joined Homewatch CareGivers as the Recruiter/ Training Administrator. She loves meeting new people and is looking forward to helping clients get the care they need.

Since joining our team, Sheryl has made an incredible impact—first as Operations Manager and now as the driving force behind our day-to-day success. Her deep knowledge of operations, combined with her passion for people, allows her to lead with clarity, compassion, and confidence. At the core of Sheryl’s leadership is her belief in the power of relationships. She takes the time to truly understand the needs of our clients, the unique strengths of our caregivers, and the goals of our agency. She personally connects with caregivers to identify those exceptional traits that will lead to meaningful, lasting bonds with the clients they serve. Now as Executive Director, Sheryl continues to champion operational excellence, build high-performing teams, and foster a culture rooted in respect, empathy, and continuous improvement. Her vision is clear: to ensure every client receives the highest level of personalized care while supporting and empowering the caregivers who make it all possible. Whether she’s meeting with families, guiding staff, or refining our systems to better serve our community, Sheryl leads with integrity, innovation, and heart. Outside of work, Sheryl has three adult children that are all in college locally and loves spending time with them. She loves new adventures and traveling with her family and friends.
