Today, Homewatch CareGivers of Northwest Houston is proudly owned and operated by Andrew Harris, RN, and Serhat Bolukbasi, who also own Homewatch CareGivers of Houston Galleria. Drawn by the strong foundation already established in Northwest Houston, Andrew and Serhat acquired the agency with a shared commitment to preserving the values families have come to trust while bringing additional clinical expertise, resources, and support to the community.
Andrew, a former Neuro ICU nurse at Houston Methodist, and Serhat, a former business leader and management consultant, combine healthcare expertise with operational excellence to ensure clients receive personalized, dependable care. Together, they are committed to building on the agency's legacy while continuing to raise the standard for in-home care.

A graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management with an MBA, he has advised Fortune 500 companies and led high-growth businesses across multiple industries. As a former Principal at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), he led large strategy and operations projects. Most recently, he built and scaled a successful Texas-based power retail company before transitioning into the home care industry. As the Owner & CEO of Homewatch CareGivers of Houston Galleria, Serhat is committed to delivering exceptional care and service to families who expect the very best.
Andrew Harris is a native Houstonian who’s passionate about healthcare. His journey was shaped by caring for his father, who was disabled in a refinery explosion, which inspired his career in nursing. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Andrew honed his skills in high-pressure environments like the Neuro ICU at Houston Methodist and as a charge nurse at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Andrew’s leadership in nursing and passion for improving the lives of the elderly led him to own and operate a home care business. With his expertise in nursing and a focus on top-quality care, he is committed to raising the standards in the home care industry in Houston.
Kim is a dedicated nurse with over 16 years of experience in critical care, including the Neuro ICU, Trauma ICU, and Medical ICU. Throughout her career, she has served in leadership roles as a charge nurse at Houston Methodist Hospital and played a key role in opening the new Cypress hospital, demonstrating both her clinical expertise and commitment to advancing patient care.
Her passion for caregiving has been a lifelong calling, rooted in both professional and personal experience. After losing her father to Alzheimer’s at the young age of 63, Kim gained a deeper understanding of the challenges families face, giving her a unique perspective as both a caregiver and a loved one.
Driven by compassion, she is committed to treating every client like family and delivering client-centered care. Kim’s dedication and experience continue to guide her mission to provide high-quality, personalized support to those she serves.
Mary Pohlman, a Texas native, has been with Homewatch CareGivers of Northwest Houston since 2023. She brings over 3 years of experience in private care services and previously worked for 15 years as a Documentation Specialist. In her current role, Mary has the privilege of working closely with home-based caregivers, gaining insight into their needs, and ensuring that clients receive the best possible support. She is known for her personal connection with caregivers, helping to match their unique strengths and personalities with the clients they serve. Mary is passionate about operational excellence and is committed to driving a culture of continuous improvement within her organization. She actively leverages her expertise in process optimization and team leadership to contribute to the ongoing success of Homewatch CareGivers of Northwest. Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time with her two adult children and her husband. Together, they love embarking on new adventures and exploring the world through travel.
Nathalie Taylor is a compassionate bilingual professional who brings both personal and professional caregiving experience to Homewatch CareGivers. Originally from El Salvador, she is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to build meaningful connections with clients, families, and caregivers from diverse backgrounds.
Nathalie’s journey into caregiving began at home, where she spent seven years as a stay-at-home mother raising her three children. During that time, she developed a deep understanding of patience, compassion, organization, and the importance of providing quality care to others.
In her role as a Care Coordinator, Nathalie works closely with caregivers and families to ensure clients receive personalized, dependable support. She also has hands-on experience as a caregiver, giving her valuable insight into the day-to-day needs of clients and the dedication required to provide exceptional care. Her unique combination of administrative and caregiving experience helps her create positive experiences for both clients and caregivers alike.
Nathalie believes great care goes beyond completing tasks—it’s about kindness, communication, trust, and making people feel valued. She finds fulfillment in helping others and takes pride in being part of a team that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families every day.
Outside of work, Nathalie enjoys spending time with her children, exploring new places, creating content on social media, and making lasting memories with family and friends.
