Care Available 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week.
I have a veteran receiving services through Homewatch Caregivers. He said they have been wonderful; nice as can be and they will do anything I ask them. I told him I would pass it on to the owners and he said, “Which one?” He has met both owners because they have personally come out to his home. I feel that this patient probably does not need skilled home health because of the attention he has been given. Not the first time I have heard good things about this agency.

Home care is one long-term care option for people who need
assistance with their activities of daily living as a result an injury,
illness, or age. Each long-term care option in Boise has various costs, and we
are experts in the cost of home care. One way that we look at it is that once a
person is paying for more than eight hours of home care, they are paying about
the same as they would to be in an assisted living facility. It really comes
down to what you or your loved one wants: does your Mom want to stay in her
home?In some instances, there might be an overlap of care
options. We had a client who was living with severe dementia in an independent
living facility with his wife. The staff said he could not remain there without
24-hour care, and that’s when they called us.
Research has provided the following general estimates of costs for long-term care:
Hospital-like setting providing a mix of medical services, equipment and skilled care for people having extensive personal care needs. Costs range from $120/day to $500/day.
Community-like setting for those who can't live independently but don't require nursing care. Cost ranges from $1,300/mo. to $7,000/mo.
Drop-in centers that provide activities and meals in a group setting during daytime hours. assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s). Pricing is $10/hour to $34/hour.
Personalized, one-to-one care delivered in the home to anyone in need of social support and/or assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s). Pricing is $10/hour to $34/hour.
With each care option, one must factor in a caregiver to client ratio, additional expenses such as meals, utilities, residential upkeep, and more. The cost of home care varies based on the breadth of services provided and number of hours required.
We’d like to get to know you better so that we can provide more specific costs for the care you need. Call us today and we can schedule an evaluation.
