Grand Rapids and Greater Kent County

There are so many great stories of how our caregivers connect with our clients, and connecting is a significant component of our care plan. Seven years ago, we received a call from a man in Grand Rapids who was planning to have knee surgery. In order to avoid a rehabilitation stay, he had to prove to the doctors that he had ample in-home care. Even after recovering from his knee surgery, he decided he needed help. Our caregivers assisted him for 7 years, 7 days a week.

We have another client, age 57, who suffers from severe migraines. Because she lives alone, and her parents who live nearby were out of town, she called on Homewatch CareGivers of Grand Rapids to help. Our caregivers drove her to appointments, provided companionship, helped with managing medications, and simply kept an eye on her because she couldn’t be left alone. Our ability to connect with that client helped to create great outcomes.
