JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently hiring caregivers for our clients in Burleson, Crowley, Mansfield, Fort Worth, and Arlington areas.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 year experience preferred but not required
  • Valid drivers license
  • Current car insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • CNA and CPR certification beneficial but not mandatory upon hire date
  • Caregiver must be reliable, dependable, honest, and caring

Caregivers must pass a national background check and drug screen. Complete all required training with continuing education hours provided at no cost by Homewatch CareGivers University. All caregivers must provide proof of CNA certifications or obtain their certifications within 18 months from hire date.

Provide companionship by:

  • Assisting clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and oral care
  • Reminding clients to take their medications
  • Assisting with light house duties such as dusting, dish washing, and vacuuming
  • Transporting clients to appointments, shopping, errands, and social outings
  • Preparing meals and promoting healthy diets
  • Encouraging clients to exercise (walking, jogging, aerobics, etc.)
  • Promote brain health through various activities such as board games, cards, bingo, gardening, scrap booking, etc.
