I started Homewatch CareGivers of Huntington Newport Beach in 2014 after my brothers and I aided my parents through their final stages of dementia. During their care, we made plenty of mistakes by thinking we could “take charge” of their lives and make decisions for them. In the demented state, people still want to make decisions and remain as independent as possible. This will hopefully steer them away from a depressive state which often follows having our independence stripped away. Now I know better and try to help people that are struggling with the same issues as we did.

I feel like I hire the most compassionate caregivers and continually train them to deal with the aging process. If our family needs more or less help we are here to accommodate and provide extra resources if needed.
