Reena Sharma opened Homewatch CareGivers of Nassau County to share the Homewatch CareGivers difference here in the New York and Long Island area—a difference that only decades of history and in field caregiving experience can bring.
The difference starts with a complimentary in-home health and safety assessment.
This will be the basis of a customized care plan for you / your loved
one. We recognize that leaving a hospital or rehab environment can be
challenging. We will help you follow your discharge plan of care to ensure
a quality recovery. We can then take care of everyday tasks that make
life easier such as groceries, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and
transportation to and from doctors visits. Ultimately our priority is
providing safety, security and companionship for you or your loved one.
Our Nassau County caregiving services are broad and deep—we can
help you on an hourly or live in basis at home or in a facility setting.
We can provide companionship or even respite from your own caregiving.
As of 2016, we are as fiscal intermediary for New York's Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP). This program allows individuals to essentially hire a friend or family member to be their caregiver and we serve as an intermediary for payments and other support.
