The West Omaha branch of Homewatch Caregivers is owned and operated by Andrew and Tara Mattson. The Mattsons are passionate about providing quality, dignified care for people residing in the Omaha area. They founded their company on the principles of Compassion, Authenticity, Respect, and Empathy (C.A.R.E.), after experiencing their own family member’s need for care after their diagnosis of dementia. The Mattsons understand the difficulty of deciding to hire a caregiver and the challenge of helping a loved one to manage their daily needs. The Mattsons are enthusiastic about providing real solutions that can alleviate some of the stress that families face in these situations, while empowering people to live safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
Andrew’s background is in management and business administration in corporate settings, while Tara has over 20 years of experience working as a School Psychologist. Together, they are excited to open this business to connect families with responsible, caring, and consistent caregivers while reassuring families that their loved ones will receive the care they need without disruption. While this is the first branch of Homewatch Caregivers in Nebraska, the company is backed by more than 46 years of experience, with over 100 branches in other states throughout the United States. Homewatch Caregivers is licensed, bonded, and insured. In addition, all caregivers go through background checks and continuous training, so families can rest assured that the caregivers in their homes are of the highest quality.
