The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provides Homemaker and Home Health Aide care (in-home caregiving services) for veterans from providers like Homewatch CareGivers. This program is for Veterans who need personal care and help with the activities of daily living. It is also for Veterans whose family caregiver needs a break from providing care. Caregivers (also referred to as Homemaker and Home Health Aide) can serve Veterans of any age.
As an accredited member of the VA’s Community Care Network, Homewatch CareGivers provides Homemaker and Home Health Aide services to help Veterans remain in their homes, as well as Respite Care for their family caregiver.
If you are approved for care by the VA, we can start caring for you right away. If the VA has not approved you for care but you think you may be eligible, contact us and we will help you through the process.
VA Aid and Attendance Benefits
The VA Aid and Attendance benefit is another program that provides monthly payments for qualified Veterans and surviving spouses. If you need help with daily activities or you’re housebound, you may qualify depending on your income and asset levels and other requirements. We have partnered with Veterans Care Coordination to provide care through the VA Aid and Attendance program.
