Discover Homewatch ConnectOverall, great people who are doing wonderful work with my 94 year Mom. If there was someone who wasn't what I liked to interact with Mom, they listened and switched the person out quickly. 99% have been awesome. They become part of the family. One brings Mom flowers on her birthday and holidays. A special group of people. I have given their name out to many.

We worked with Homewatch for our 87, now 88 year old mother as we continue to help her stay in her own home. Homewatch was a good service with good caretakers and doesn't make you sign a contract that has you paying even if your loved one is not in need because of travel or family visiting and taking care of your loved one. We have switched back to a family resource to care for our mom because communication is consistent and that helps our mom know what's happening. Twice in 8 months, Homewatch changed my mom's caregiver without advance warning. We received a call one afternoon about a coming change and the caregiver showed up the next day to say it was her last day. This caused our mom anxiety and worry as to who's next and having to get accostumed and "train" them again. At 88, our mom doesn't respond to quick changes. It's a good service but not for our mom any longer. She needs communication and front loading sooner and more often to help in her care. Gina Higgin

Good providers. Only thing some providers didn’t show up at the designated time

I have consistently been impressed with the quality of caregivers and responsiveness to my mom's particular needs from Homewatch. She looks forward to her caregiver's visits and I appreciate knowing she's being taken care of. Thank you to the Homewatch team for all the great support!

Homewatch has been an absolute blessing with helping my dad enter the new phase of life without my mom. Our caretaker is with him a few hours a day, 3 times a week. We didn't want to overwhelm him with a "new roommate" so we've worked it up to a point that he recognizes that she is there to help him with the things that mom typically did for 60 years. She helps with the cooking, light cleaning and most of all just sitting and having a conversational companion. From time to time she has taken him to appointments, which turn into unexpected ice cream stops! I can't say enough great thing about how kind and efficient the entire staff at Homewatch has been, but mostly I can't tell you how thankful I am for our caretaker. She has truly been the shining star my dad had needed! David C.

After a meaningful visit with Homewatch CareGivers of Tucson and its owner, Margie Lannon, Curtis Wiederin, Senior Vice President of Growth & Operations for Homewatch CareGivers Corporation, was on his way back to corporate headquarters. Sitting quietly at the airport bar, sipping his go-to Pepsi Zero, Curtis was reflecting on the visit when an unexpected and deeply touching moment unfolded. A young woman, likely in her mid-20s, stepped up to the bar and ordered a shot of tequila. Curtis, ever warm and conversational, remarked, “Wow, I could use one of those, but my body never agrees with that alcohol.” Her response stopped him in his tracks. “I just landed and need the alcohol courage to approach my mom in baggage claim… my father passed away this morning.” Curtis offered his heartfelt condolences. Then, her eyes caught the Homewatch CareGivers logo on his shirt—and she began to cry. “I think your company took care of my dad the last few weeks,” she said, her voice trembling. She went on to share how her mother had resisted the idea of home care at first, until she finally stood her ground and called in support. That decision made all the difference. “She fell in love with your caregivers,” the young woman said. “They were so kind, so caring… I will forever be grateful to your company.” Curtis asked for her father’s name and, upon calling Stacy Alameda, Chief Operating Officer, Homewatch CareGivers of Tucson, confirmed that this indeed was one of their clients. It was a full-circle moment that affirmed everything Homewatch CareGivers stands for. “It really is a small world,” Curtis later shared. “But what isn’t small is the impact of the care we provide. This was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.” To the Homewatch CareGivers of Tucson team — Thank you! This encounter at an airport bar was more than chance. It was a reminder that compassion travels, and the legacy of your care lives on, even in moments you’ll never see. You are making a difference. Every single day.
