Homewatch CareGivers Academy is a professionally developed platform designed to train employees, family members providing care, and the greater caregiver community. Its functionality provides evaluation components as well as robust reporting and data analysis capabilities. Learners have access to numerous specialized training content targeted in areas such as dementia care, behavioral health and care for those living with intellectual developmental disabilities.
At Homewatch CareGivers, we believe that exceptional care starts with confident, well-prepared caregivers. That’s why caregivers have personalized training plans designed to meet their unique needs and the needs of those they serve. As part of our commitment to caregiver support, every caregiver completes a minimum of 12 hours of annual training through the Homewatch CareGivers Academy. These courses cover essential topics like dementia care, behavioral health, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Assignments are thoughtfully curated to ensure caregivers stay current, capable, and compassionate—ready to deliver the highest quality of in-home care.
