About Our Caregivers4.8
Saphron Hatfield is a caregiver for Homewatch and has been the caregiver for my husband for over a year. She comes with an infectious smile that never fades. Saphron made sure to know Al’s accomplishments in life and to build on that as his memory fades. She takes him to see building that he built as a general contractor. He loves to fish so off they go. She baits the hooks, carries the cooler, and the chairs. He is a kid again. They walk every day noticing the smallest things. They were featured in the August September magazine veterans life. Al’s service in the Air Force is so important to him. She loves to hear his stories over and over and over. They build models of boats, airplanes, cars, and animals. She engages him in life. They are out most of the time that she is here. A bonus for me for sure. She is involved with his PT and sees that he follows through. She knows and is comfort with our extended family. We feel fortunate to have her with us.

My dad Al has Alzheimer's. Over the past few years he has become an increasing burden on my mom. She can't get the things done she needs to and just needs some time to heal herself from taking care of dad. Enter an angel named Saffron from Homewatch. She come three days a week for a few hours. She doesn't do housework, she is dads friend. They do small projects like build a birdhouse, they play games, go fishing, eat hot dogs... all the stuff dad loves to do. She is a mom and she brings that love and joy with her every visit and our whole family is better because of her. Thanks Saffron and thanks Homewatch.

We had a perfectly wonderful New Year’s Day. My wife has dementia and I was surprised when she mentioned that her mother used to serve black-eyed peas and stewed tomatoes. Our caregiver found out what kind of meat and greens her mother used and what she served with the meal. Then she arranged for us to enjoy a hike at beautiful Lake Georgetown along with a picnic lunch!! I’m not POSITIVE the meal brought back memories of her mother’s cooking; but she ate three bowls of the black-eyed peas. I really appreciate the genuine concern and care extended by Home Watch

Our caregivers, Talise and Ashley, have helped our family so much since they came in after mom's death caring for my AO Veteran dad. They make sure he eats regularly, let me know when he is out of supplies, keeps his living space clean and overall monitor him. They provide him companionship which is a relief because he's not always easy to get along with. They are lifesavers. Thank you Talise and Ashley.

Best home care in Torrance!!! I found Homewatch because of their 5 star review when my Nieghbor needed help. Turns out as a veteran he gets free home care from VA and this agency knew how to help my veteran neighbor utilize his VA home care benefits. Their team of caregivers are highly skilled, always on time and professional. I would trust them for my own family as I did for my beloved neighbor.
