Susan joined Homewatch CareGivers in January 2016. As office administrator, her responsibilities include transferring calls to correct personnel, inventory, meeting caregivers’ needs, new caregiver onboarding, and handling many aspects of orientation. She works closely with each team member to assist in any way possible and likes the family atmosphere at Homewatch CareGivers. When not working, she enjoys time with family, friends, and her furbabies.

Stephanie, one of the family owners of Homewatch CareGivers of the Triangle, has been in her family business since 2006. Currently she runs the day to day in the Cary Office as the Branch Manager. She previously worked in the Chapel Hill office as the Business Manager. She values the opportunity to work with her family and amazing staff that have become part of the family. “Our family found a unique business that modeled our values and how we treat our family and our elders. Having the opportunity to care for your loved one at home, wherever they call home, is a gift.”
Stephanie enjoys working alongside her husband, Matt, who is the Communications Relations Manager for the company. They have two young children, Holden and Callie. Together they enjoy playing tennis, watching their children in their various sporting activities, and spending time with family and friends. -

Brandi has been with Homewatch Caregivers since April 2012. She started as a loving caregiver who joined our office staff just a short time later. She values her continued relationships with clients and caregivers. Brandi prides herself on keeping up with the constant changing of client schedules and caregiver availability. In her time out of office, she enjoys yoga, camping trips with her family and spontaneous travels with her son Liam. -

Laura has worked with Homewatch CareGivers since 2014. As a nurse supervisor, she has the pleasure of meeting our clients personally and through conversation and collaboration, makes a plan of care that fits their needs. We work closely with families to ensure that their loved one is receiving the best possible care. We advocate for our clients whenever we can to assist in helping them be as functional as possible, physically, and mentally and spiritually. “My job is very satisfying in many ways and I can go home each day knowing that I have made a difference in someone’s life,” Laura says.
In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, elderly parents, and friends. I enjoy working in my garden, reading and decorating my 1790 home in New Bern, NC. -
Carol Szafranski

Carol has been a nurse for over 33 years, graduating from Indiana University with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She started out her career in cardiology and open heart surgery, where she found her love for working with the elderly population. She started with Homewatch CareGivers in 2012 and has enjoyed watching it serve a vital role in the Wake County community and has enjoyed being a part of its growth. Meeting with clients and families, working with a team of caregivers, and being part of a wonderful staff are the highlights of her job. Carol enjoys spending time with her family/adult children, travelling, and running with her husband and their dog.
